Narendra Damodar Das Modi was born in Vadnagar, Gujarat, India.The 14th Prime Minister of India.
In 1982, Modi received a master's degree in political science from Gujarat University. In 1985, joined the Indian People's Party. In 1988, he was elected the party's organizational secretary in Gujarat. In 1995, he served as the National Secretary-General of the Indian People ’s Party.
In 1998, he served as the party's general secretary. In 2001, he was the chief minister of Gujarat. In September 2013, he became the candidate of the Indian People's Party in 2014. In May 2014, the Bharatiya Janata Party won the election and Modi became prime minister. In 2019, he was re-elected successfully.
